Hello Beauties,
I am so excited to show you the new Mini Book Box template that is
available at Ooh-la-la Vintage Treasures! My inspiration for this
template was from Anna Fearer's Ustream. Doreen sent her a large book
box that you can find at your local craft store and Anna altered it.
Everyone wanted her to send it to them ( it was beautiful) and she said
it was to big to ship. So I had decided that we need some mini book
boxes! Now you can make your own way cheaper then buying them.
I used the Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden paper to cover my book boxes. I have decided to use my mini book boxes for storage in my craft room. They are the perfect size for storing those small items that you always loss in your big storage containers ( happens to me all the time). Also you can use these little beauties for mini albums! How cute would it be to have a mini album inside these cute little boxes! The small book would make an adorable ornament for your Christmas Tree! Oh, and you can cut out the center part of the lid and turn them into shadow boxes! Okay, okay I will stop, LOL! Now I have to tell you the dimensions: Large is 4 1/2 in. wide x 5 in. long x almost 1 in. deep, Medium is 3 1/2 in. wide x 4 in. long x 1 in. deep, and the Small is 2 1/2 in. wide x 3 in. long x almost 1 in. deep.

The Spine |
I used some of the Butterfly Garden paper to decorate the spine of the books. You could make cute labels to decorate your spine to look more like a book.
|
Inside of the large book |
I did a simple inside with images from the paper collection. I didn't want the inside to be bulked up because I am using my book boxes for storage.

These little books are so fun to make and decorate and there are so many different ways you can use them and decorate them!
Have a Happy Crafty Day!
Hugs♥
